NOTICE: Do NOT use an Apostrophe (single quote) or quote marks when entering classes, names or anything else.
I made this mistake in the tutorial database and the full version. Did not test and then had errors. If you downloaded the version 8 full or tutoral, If you download the upgrade, as long as you never entered an ( ' ) then you are OK

Note: If you downloaded version 8 after 8/16/01 then you are OK and do not need to do the following unless you added your own category using an Apostrophe.

To fix the problem, start roundup. At the top of the screen under the Microsoft Access title bar, click on the word "FILE", then click on the word "CLOSE" from the drop down menu.

Then click on the Table tab. As seen above.
Double click the Classes table and you will see a listing of all of the classes. Edit any class with as ( ' ) so that you are not using them..
Again, at the top of the screen under the Microsoft Access title bar, click on the word "FILE", then click on the word "EXIT" from the drop down menu.
The clases has now been changed. However, since we did this through the table, any shooter that was in this class needs to be changed also. Start RoundUp and go to the " Add Shooters to Current Match " and change their class to the correct one.

New in version 8

Moved some controls around so that users with a 800 x 600 screen size can use program easier
Add possibility to link to database using a product like WORD so that you can print certificates
Added a report to see "CLEAN" shooters. No misses or procedurals
Fixed problem with portable export
Added ability to use more than one computer to score match and then merge them back to one computer to do the scoring. ( please read special instructions )
Added Routines to make sure that you don't accidently click the wrong button.
Fixed other minor bugs that I can't remember

ERROR found in the Portable export section of Version 7.
The export is supposed to create 1 posse file for each posse. I acciddently used the number of stages instead of the number of posses. Therefore if you had 8 posses and 5 stages, you only got 5 posse files. The export works if you have the same number of posses as you do stages. You can still test.
I will fix this in version 8

New in version 7

Added a "Quick Find" to the MasterNameTable that allows you to drop down a box and quickly find the shooter your looking for
Added two HTML Exports so that the shooters will be in order by either time or rank
Added two EXCEL Exports so that the shooters will be in order by either time or rank
Added the possibility to change the number of stages or the match date midstream. Meaning that you had already added shooters to the current match and now need to make changes.
Added a check to make sure you did not accidently use the same match date twice
Added the use of Handhelds such as Palm Pilot and Win CE devices. Read Instructions first.
